The Gwinnett Braves return home to Coolray Field for an eight-day, nine-game homestand that will begin on Thursday, June 14 and conclude on Thursday, June 21. The G-Braves will host the Columbus Clippers (June 14-17) for five games and the International League West leading Indianapolis Indians (June 18-21) for four games.

Join us for our second annual eating contest for Dudes vs. Foods Night on Thursday. Only the bravest fans will dare to tackle the Super Knucksie! Participants will be chosen at the game to eat an 8-by-8 oversized version of the Knucksie. Thursday is also “$3 Thursday” so start the weekend right with $3 food and drink specials all game long presented by Dave FM. New for 2012, all general admission berm seating is also $3 on Thursdays!

After leading the IL South for most of the first two months of the season, the G-Braves currently reside in second place in the division, trailing first place Charlotte by 2.5 games. Gwinnett began the month of June at 2-8 as part of their recent downward trend, but received catcher J.C. Boscan and outfielder Jose Constanza back from Atlanta on Sunday and followed with an 11-8 victory at Pawtucket on Monday night. In more transactions, Anthony Varvaro was promoted to the Atlanta Braves, meanwhile Cory Gearrin returns to Gwinnett and will reassume closer duties upon arrival.
