The Gwinnett Braves began their nine-game homestand in eight days on Thursday night with a loss to Columbus. However, Gwinnett managed to stay composed as they swept the doubleheader on Friday, 4-0 and 8-3. However, Gwinnett fell to Columbus on Saturday night, 6-1, in front of 7,000+ fans at Coolray Field. Julio Teheran took the loss, his third of the season, after he lasted just four innings. Tyler Pastornicky and Luis Durango have been on fire as of late for the Gwinnett offense, as they look to create more problems for Clipper pitching on Sunday. Currently, the five-game series between the two teams is tied 2-2 with just one game left in the regular season between the two teams.

The G-Braves will host the Columbus Clippers (June 14-17) for one more game before the International League West leading Indianapolis Indians (June 18-21) visit Lawrenceville for four games to conclude Gwinnett’s current nine-game homestand.
